Apple Orchard

We enjoyed our first day of Fall by going to an Apple Orchard.



We love Apples!

Shaylee wanted to smell all the beautiful flowers:

They had this huge bouncy house in the shape of an apple that the girls enjoyed jumping in.

We got to watch the pigs and goats:

On the tractor ride - we drove through the apple orchards and enjoyed the bumpy ride!

Cai is 4 Months!

Our Baby is growing up! He is now 4 months old - not sure how much he weighs yet - we will find that out in a couple days. He has been working on getting his bottom teeth. They are still not through yet, but you can feel the bumps and he chews on everything and drools like crazy!

Shaylee truly does love her brother. She feels it is her duty to give him enough kisses and cuddles to last a lifetime. Malachi truly loves his sister, but sometimes gets a little worried when she is constantly in his face kissing on him... I pray that they will grow up having an awesome love and bond between them.


Shaylee decided that Malachi needed a little company... Can you sing with me: "One of these things is not like the other..." :)

Cai learned to roll over from his belly to his back. He doesn't do it very often though. Here he is as I am trying to get him to roll over so I can catch it on video...

Cousin Addie's Party

We just celebrated Cousin Addie's Birthday. Shaylee thought it was lots of fun. They decided to get all dressed up for the occassion - they sure do love each other!

The rain is here, but we still love the park!

We started with some fun time on the swings - Shaylee of loves "underdoggies"! (See the video at the bottom of this post).



Of course since everything was wet, it was slippery too! Shaylee slipped and it took her a little while to recover...



Daddy got stuck in the tube that was too small, so Shaylee had to help him out!

Shaylee thought these little "cubbies" were awesome! :)

Don decided to use his rear end rather than the towel I brought to wipe off the slide - he didn't realize HOW wet they really were...

We took a little hike back behind the park - Malachi fell asleep. :)

End of Summer

We had one more day of sun for the summer, so we decided to go to a park with some water to play in. The kiddos had a blast!

They had this really neat swing to ride...

She was trying to get her foot wet and keep the rest of her body dry... Silly Shaylee!

Shaylee dropped all of her hair stuff on the bathroom floor - how long do you suppose it took her to clean up this mess??? 2 1/2 hours - a good portion of that time was spent crying over how much work she had to do...
