Beautiful Fall Day!

We went on a walk to collect some cool leaves for a project. We love our Aunt Sharon!

Beach

Uncle Bug and Aunt Sharon came to visit us so we took a trip to the beach - gorgeous day!!!

Brothers...

Brotherly love...

Here is my cute "poochy belly" girl. :)

Shaylee loves riding in the ergo even more now that she has her cast on. She is very cozy on Daddy's back!

October Cuteness

Sometimes we just catch the funniest pictures of our kids - I love the look on Cai's face here:

Shaylee has a hard time giving real smiles sometimes...

Well, he got Mommy's eyes, but I think the rest is all Stackpole...

Pumpkin Patch

"Mmm, this looks yummy, I think I will eat it!" He made one nice clean spot on that pumpkin!

"Mom, this is so cool"

Happy and content in the pumpkin field! :)

Shaylee holding her little "pumpkin":

So, Shaylee had to go and break her leg BEFORE we went to the pumpkin patch. This is how we got in and out of the pumpkin patch - Malachi in the bjorn on my front and Shaylee in the ergo on my back - Mommy got a bit tired by the end of that trip!

Here are some of our playgroup friends that joined us at the patch:

Shaylee was a bit bummed that she couldn't run around the hay maze - poor thing!

Good sister and brother lovin'!

Playtime

This little man loves to smile - and we love to get these awesome smiles!

Cousins

We just love our cousins so much - we have lots of fun when they come to play with us!

Shaylee's Broken Leg

Shaylee loves to play the doorbell game that Daddy taught her - she rings the doorbell and runs around the side of the house to hide while Mommy opens up the door and is surprised to find that no one is there... Anyway, she was playing this game and through the peephole in the door, Mommy sees Shaylee trip down our little step. She is crying like it hurts - how badly? We don't know. It was almost bed time so we decided we would see how she felt the next day - knowing that we already had her well-check doctor's appointment set for the day after. She cried a good portion of the night and still would not even stand on it the next day. We figured something was wrong. She went in for an x-ray the next day to find that she had broken both her tibia and fibula. So, here she is in his gorgeous pink cast that she gets to wear for just over 4 weeks. The doctor said she would probably still not want to stand or walk on it for another 10 days - Mommy is going to build some great muscles carrying Shaylee and Malachi everywhere... We are praying it all heals well!
